Beagles were originally bred as hunters, so they love to run. They will wander out of the yard every chance they get, so I would not recommend them. Additionally, they have oily coats that often smell. I think you left off Great Danes...while they are huge, they are also gentle and laid back. They were bred to sit next to the kind and look intimidating. This means they are content to lay around the house all day, and looking intimidating is automatic because of their size.

A very interesting list, but I believe not altogether accurate. Beagles lead with their noses and will wander off whenever they can and therefore need good walks to counter this.
Papillons are gorgeous and love chilling. BUT they also are high energy and will go crazy if they don’t get a lot of attention and regular walks.
