Dog Beds
I love dog beds. I have them all over the house. I have several favorites. When I'm napping in the afternoon I love the kind that has a bumper to lean on. At night I like a flatbed or my favorite baby blankie. When I'm laying next to mom watching tv I like a cushy, no sides bed.
How to Chose a Dog Bed
Watch your dog sleep
- Does your dog stretch out? If so, it will need a big bed.
- Is your dog a cuddler? Choose a smaller bed with sides to lean on.
- Measure your dog from nose to tail when it's laying down sleeping, then add 8 to 12 inches. This is the minimum size bed you'll need.
- Is your dog special needs?
- Orthopedic beds made of memory foam will help with joint or arthritis.
- If you live in a warmer climate or have a dog with thick or long fur, dogs do well on cots. Cots are usually made with mesh and air can flow over and under them to keep them cool.
- Pick a bed that can easily be cleaned.

Dog Blankets
Oh my gosh, I love actual baby blankets! I'm a little dog and mom uses these all the time. I have them in the car to lay on and on the couch. Mom even has them on my dog bed and the big bed I share with her at night. Did I tell you I sleep with my mom! As if she'd have any choice! Hahaha

Why dogs need to chew
It's normal for puppies as they are growing up. It helps to relieve the pain of teething.
In older dogs, it helps to keep their teeth clean and mouth's strong.
Chewing also helps relieve boredom and gives them something to keep busy. My mom says they help to keep my nose out of their food when she's eating. Hahaha, I'm a good puppy.
