- White Craft Paint (or any color you like)
- Black Craft Paint (or any color you like)
- Paint Brush
- Hammer
- Scissors
- 1 Skein Black Embroidery Thread (or any color you like)
- 1 5x7 Wood Plaque
- Small Nails

Directions:
Step 1: Mix paint on the plaque to get the color you want. Then using the paintbrush over the front and sides of the plaque. Allow to fully dry.
Step 2: With a dry paintbrush, dip in white paint and then blot a few times to get most of the paint off. Then lightly brush it over the grey on the plaque. Keep doing this until you get the look you want. Allow to fully dry.
Step 3: Cut out the paw print template.
Step 4: Place cut out on painted plaque. It should be right at the top of the plaque. Start hammering in the nails at the edge of the black paw. You want to hammer the nails in enough so they hold, but not so much they go through to the other side. Nails should be spaced about ¼ to ½ inch apart. Be sure to go around the pad of the paw and then around the toes.
Step 5: Rip paper out from around nails.
Step 6: Tie the end of the string to one nail on the pad.
Step 7: Wrap the string around each nail, working your way around the pad.
Step 8: When all the way around, start going back and forth to the other nails to fill in the center. When you have it pretty filled in, tie it off on a different nail than you started with. Cut off the extra string. Then repeat steps 6-8 to do each of the toes.
Step 9: Remove the sticker off the hook. Carefully place the hook right under the paw in the center of the plaque. Then press firmly until it is attached to the plaque.
Tips:
To hang this on the wall you can either screw right through it to attach to the wall. Drill two holes in it and run some twine through it. Or you could also attach a picture hanger on the back.
