📋 Directions to Make Dog Shampoo Soap Bars
Step 1: In a microwave safe bowl, melt soap base in microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted.
Steps 2-3: Add in the almond oil and essential oils.
Steps 4-7: Spray the mold with the rubbing alcohol. Pour enough soap just to cover the bottom of each cavity of the mold.
Spray with the rubbing alcohol. This keeps bubbles from forming.
When the soap hardens, sprinkle about a teaspoon each of the oatmeal and lavender into each cavity of the mold. Spray with the rubbing alcohol.
Steps 8-9: When the soap has completely hardened, fill each cavity with more of the melted soap almost to the top and spray with rubbing alcohol.
Final Step - Allow the soap to harden for about 30 minutes or until a semi-hard film has formed.
Then sprinkle about a teaspoon each of the oatmeal and lavender into each cavity of the mold and then cover with the remaining soap.
Allow to harden for at least two hours.
