Homemade low calorie, delicious and healthy Applesauce Dog Cookies that dogs love.
Making treats for your dog at home is a great way to reduce the amount of preservatives and other mystery ingredients in his or her diet.
You can also ensure that you know exactly what goes into your dog’s food, providing a peace of mind that store-bought treats just can’t provide.
Even better, making your own dog treats is super easy, and you can whip them up in no time.
Though most people think of dog treats to give dogs a little extra love and affection, there are actually some practical reasons behind serving them.
Treats can reward good behavior, to help dogs learn commands and tricks (a bone or stuffed Kong can make a great alternative to chewing up your favorite shoes), and to help associate the sight, smell, and taste of something with something good. (With homemade dog treats, that good thing is a belly-full of tasty homemade treats!)
