Can Dogs Eat Carrots?
There are some human foods that cats and dogs cannot eat, but carrots are not one of them.
Carrots have been around forever and are loaded with antioxidants and phytonutrient, which can lower the risk of cancer and protect the heart. Vitamin A helps get toxins out of the body.
They are good for your dog’s bowels! Fibers in carrots helps clean out your dog’s colon and speed up waste movement. They're loaded with beta-carotene, which is important for wonderful vision, especially night vision.
Raw carrots help your dog keep his teeth clean by gently scraping away plaque. You can use either cooked or raw carrots when making frozen carrot treats.
