How to Make Sweet Potato Muffins
Ingredients
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup rolled oats, floured
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup pureed sweet potatoes
- ⅓ cup plain yogurt
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup applesauce
Supplies Needed:
- Small bowl for dry ingredients.
- Larger bowl for wet ingredients.
- Mini Cupcake pan
- Mini Cupcake liners
Directions
- Preheat your over to 350° degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line your cupcake pan.
- Mix your dry ingredients, flour, oats, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, add olive oil, pureed sweet potatoes, yogurt, egg and banana, mixing until combined.
- Add your dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Fill each cupcake liner about ½ to ⅔ way full.
- Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes depending on your oven. Stick a toothpick into the mixture to make sure it's done.

Healthy and good enough to eat, Sweet Potato Muffins for dogs.
Ingredients
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup rolled oats, floured

- ¼ cup pureed sweet potatoes
- ⅓ cup plain yogurt
- 1 egg
Instructions

- Line the cupcake pan with liners. I use a mini cupcake pan. .
- Mix your dry ingredients, flour and baking powder.

You can substitute the olive oil for coconut oil, if you prefer.
