Overripe Bananas - Bananas are high in potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. Some veterinarians recommend bananas as a healthy alternative to fatty, salty treats.
The fruit is high in fiber, which can help your dog with tummy problems, and magnesium, which helps the body produce proteins and absorb vitamins.
Despite this, you should only feed your dog bananas in moderation since they contain a lot of sugar.
6 Egg yolks - Dogs can eat cooked egg yolks, but in moderation. Egg yolks are high in calories and fats, including cholesterol, and very energy dense. Humans can have adverse health effects from dietary cholesterol, but dogs have fewer concerns about cholesterol and appear to be better able to tolerate it.
2 tablespoon Fresh Ground Ginger - Dogs can eat small amounts of ginger in small amounts and it provides several health benefits. It contains anti-inflammatory properties that can promote heart health, ease bloating, and strengthen blood circulation. Fresh ginger root is packed with antioxidants.
1 ½ cups Whole wheat flour - whole wheat flour is an excellent source of digestible carbohydrates in homemade dog treats, which your dog uses as energy. Wheat is also an excellent source of complementary protein in meat-based formulas.

- Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour is a good choice for pups who are sensitive to wheat. You can also substitute oat flour or ground rolled oats in your food processor.
- Feel free to use whole wheat or all-purpose flour if your dogs aren't sensitive to wheat.
- Try coconut flour if you're looking for a grain-free alternative.
