Oats contain fiber and can keep your dog's blood sugar levels in check, which can prevent diabetes symptoms.
Carrots – While the idea of giving dogs carrots as a treat may seem strange, there are some good reasons for it; carrots can help keep your dog’s teeth clean by scraping away plaque and tartar, and they can also help to keep his breath smelling fresh. It's loaded with vitamins and minerals, like B2, B5, B6, B12, niacin, biotin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, and folic acid. Vitamin A and B6 are in there, along with zinc, iron, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus.
Peanut butter is loaded with protein, too. Peanut butter has 7.6 grams of protein, so it'll keep your dog strong.
